How Villento Protects Your Data

A plain-language look at what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have over your own information.

Villento Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 30, 2026

This page explains what personal data Villento collects from players across Canada, how that data is used and protected, and how you can access, correct or delete it.

When you open a Villento account, we collect only the information needed to run your account safely, process your transactions and meet standard record-keeping obligations for regulated gaming businesses. This policy sets out the categories of data involved, why we hold them, how long we keep them and what say you have over the process.

What Data We Collect

We group the information we hold on players into three broad buckets: identity data, payment data and gameplay data. Each is collected for a specific, limited purpose rather than gathered indiscriminately.

  • Identity data: full name, date of birth, residential address, email, phone number, and government-issued ID used to confirm you are 19 or older and to verify your identity when required.
  • Payment data: details linked to Interac e-Transfer transfers, card numbers (partially masked), crypto wallet addresses for Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether (USDT), and transaction history for deposits and withdrawals.
  • Gameplay data: game titles played, session length, stakes, wins and losses, bonus activity, and device or browser information used to detect fraud or technical issues.
  • Support data: any messages, emails or chat transcripts you send our support team, kept to resolve disputes and improve service quality.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, and cookie identifiers used for account security and site functionality.

How We Use Your Information

Identity data is used to verify age and identity, prevent underage access, and comply with anti-fraud checks before large withdrawals. Payment data lets us process deposits and payouts accurately and flag suspicious transaction patterns. Gameplay data helps us calculate bonus eligibility, apply wagering requirements correctly, and personalise promotions such as free spins on selected slots. None of this data is sold to third parties for marketing purposes outside our own platform.

How Data Is Secured

Personal and payment data is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols, and stored on access-controlled servers. Internal access to identity documents and payment records is restricted to staff who need it for verification, support or compliance work. Passwords are never stored in plain text. We recommend players use a unique password for their Villento account and enable any two-step verification offered at login, since account security is a shared responsibility between the player and the platform.

Cookies and Tracking

Villento uses cookies to keep you logged in, remember display preferences, and understand which games and pages are used most. You can adjust cookie settings through your browser at any time. Disabling certain cookies may affect features like saved login sessions or personalised promotions, but it will not block your ability to play.

How Long We Keep Data

Account and transaction records are kept for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to satisfy financial record-keeping and dispute-resolution needs. Once that period passes and there is no outstanding legal or financial reason to retain the data, it is deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights Over Your Data

You can ask Villento at any time to show you what personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, or delete your account data once any pending withdrawals, bonus terms and financial obligations are settled. Requests can be sent through the support channel listed on the site. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe and will confirm in writing once a deletion or correction request has been completed.

  • Right to access: request a copy of the personal data we hold on your account.
  • Right to correction: update inaccurate identity or contact details.
  • Right to deletion: request account closure and data removal, subject to legal retention periods.
  • Right to withdraw consent: opt out of marketing emails or promotional notifications at any time.
  • Right to raise concerns: contact support first, and escalate to the relevant authority named in our footer if unresolved.

Sharing Data With Third Parties

Some data is shared with trusted partners strictly to keep the platform running: payment processors handling Interac e-Transfer, card and crypto transactions, identity verification services confirming age and residency, and game providers such as Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play who need session data to run live tables and slots correctly. These partners are bound to use the data only for the service they provide to us.

Players Under 19 and Underage Access

Villento does not knowingly collect data from anyone under 19. If we discover an account was opened by someone underage, it is closed immediately and any funds are handled according to our terms. Parents or guardians concerned about underage access can contact ConnexOntario (1-866-531-2600, https://www.connexontario.ca/) for guidance and support resources.
